Why is the French language dying?

Even if French is spoken before English at the Olympics, this language is “dying” a little for several reasons. To begin with, France has lost influence and credibility within the European Community. French is no longer the business language.  We could also talk about fashion. The tendency nowadays is to learn English first because it is the major international language. Since the Chinese economy is booming, many wish to know this language too. Spanish attracts many students, as you can use it in many countries. France needs to improve its economy, and promote more French movies and songs in order to convince people that it is still useful and great to speak French!
