Windows Alt Codes

On the Windows OS, a combination of the ALT key plus a code can be used to create an accent character.

How to Use:

1) Hold down the Alt key, then press the number sequence.
2) Release both keys.

Special Notes:

  • Typing Polish is a bit different. Instead, type out the 4 digit code, followed by ALT+X. This will convert the 4 digits into the character.
  • The HTML entries are for use in HTML. You can learn more about them here.
